This valve can be used in hot water systems to allow the relieve of pressure and also control the temperature within the system.It should prevent the watercylinder from boiling (100°C). 

The Valve is pre-set so that when the water temperature reaches too high of temperature the valve will release enough water to bring the cylinder back to the correct sate temperature
