The fork mounted drum positioner offers effective and safe movement of drums from horizontal to vertical and vice versa. To pick up a drum in the vertical position: Lower the attachment to the ground so as to support the tines, then simply release the handle via the pull chord. Gently raise the forks until the tines are clear of the ground and are hanging vertically.

Approach the drum and lower the tines over it. Now simply reverse the truck slowly while gently lowering the forks until the drum comes to rest on the ground in the horizontal position. This movement will auto-lock the tines, the drum can now be transported. Fork Mounted Drum Positioners offer a unique means of manipulating drums from horizontal to vertical and vice-versa without leaving the seat of a fork truck. Completely mechanical in operation, it can be used for transporting drums, loading/unloading vehicles/drum stands and racks. Suitable for use with Steel/ “L’ and “XL’ Plastic Drums of 210-litre capacity. Stainless Steel Model also available.
